NICMS Project
A Noninvasive Continence Management System
This project, developed under EU 5th Framework Programme between 2003-2006 , was aiming at development and clinical evaluation of a novel toileting device for women called the Non-Invasive Continence Management System (NICMS). The NICMS device was designed to provide an alternative toileting facility that overcomes problems some women experience when using conventional female urinals.
In the NICMS Project, Department of Family Medicine, Medical University of Lodz participated in designing of the novel non-invasive continence management system, and piloted it in the clinical trial.
