During the webinar, researchers from the Medication Adherence Research Center (MARC) at MUL will present their latest findings on medication waste and its impact on public health and the environment. MARC will also discuss the critical link between medication non-adherence and pharmaceutical waste, highlighting how improving adherence can reduce ecological harm.

This study, mapping household medication disposal practices across Europe, will inform discussions at the High-Level Symposium on Minimising the Ecological and Economic Burden of Medication Waste, taking place in Brussels this June.
