From August 26 to 30, 2024, Dr. Paweł Lewek presented the results of the ODIN project at the 33rd International IEEE RO-MAN 2024 Conference in Pasadena, USA, discussing the pan-European collaboration coordinated in Poland by the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical University of Łódź.

The project tested the potential use of an autonomous robot, designed by the company Robotnik, for transporting blood samples in hospital settings. Trials conducted at the Central University Hospital in Łódź demonstrated that this technology shows promise, though further research is required.

The initiative garnered interest from international experts, highlighting the development of robotics in medical environments, especially regarding future applications in hospitals.
