Today marked the successful virtual kick-off meeting of the COPD-ALERT project, funded under the HU-RIZON International Excellence Program Call 2024. This ambitious initiative aims to revolutionize COPD management through AI-driven prediction of exacerbations, integrating real-world data and medication adherence monitoring.

The meeting gathered partners from the University of Pécs (Hungary, lead), University of Groningen (Netherlands), and Medical University of Lodz (Poland) to align on objectives and next steps. On behalf of MUL, the Medication Adherence Research Center is actively contributing to the project, focusing on adherence data integration.
