Department of Family Medicine Joins Two IHI Projects

We are pleased to announce that the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical University of Łódź will soon begin participation in two prestigious international research projects funded under the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) program.
The first project is CAREPATH (full title: Collaborative Action and Research for Engagement, Persistence and Adherence in Treatment & Health), conducted under IHI Call 6: “Support healthcare system resilience through a focus on persistency in the treatment of chronic diseases.” The project focuses on strengthening healthcare system resilience by promoting continuity and persistence in the treatment of chronic diseases.
The second project is ENKORE: “Propelling the shift toward the future of circular, safe, and sustainable packaging and single-use device solutions ecoDesigned through healthcare environments.” It is part of IHI Call 4: “Safe & sustainable by design (SSbD) packaging and single-use device solutions for healthcare products.” The project aims to develop innovative, safe, and sustainable packaging and single-use device solutions tailored to the healthcare sector.
We are excited that the Department of Family Medicine will actively contribute to the development of groundbreaking solutions for public health and the environment. More details about both projects will be shared soon!
